Anarcheologos

Welcome to Anarcheologos, a website driven by a love of language and words and dedicated to the free and creative exploration of these topics.

We have chosen the name of the site to stand as an example of the approach being taken.  It is a neologism that combines a number of words derived from Ancient Greek to arrive at a unique meaning:

Anarch: connoting one who does not recognize a leader

Archeo-: connoting something related to foundations or beginnings and, in modern terms, the search for these foundations or beginnings

Logos: connoting the word, the foundation of knowledge

So, Anarcheologos is a site dedicated to the exploration of words in a free and unfettered, and hopefully entertaining, way.
